If I'd been routing the pipes, I'd have put them under these eaves, then run them through an existing interior box that's approximately under the east-west section of pipe, then about 3' on the ceiling (over the water heater and washer, so no real loss of visual appeal), and up through the ceiling to the heat exchanger. But I didn't do the routing.
